The Consulate General of India New York organized a Conference on Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code- A New Paradigm for Stressed Assets

The Consulate General of India in partnership with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry organized an invite-only Conference on the theme ‘Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code of India - New Paradigm for Stressed Assets’ at the Consulate at the Consulate General of India, New York, USA. The Conference served as a platform to understand the opportunities to US corporates for investment in stressed assets in India with the Indian Regulator, leading law firms and financial intermediaries. It was followed by a roundtable with prospective stakeholders of the Indian insolvency regime which witnessed participation of fund houses and law firms, including Kirkland, KKR, Hartford, Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen, KTC, Debevoise, Plimpton, MSD, Raffael Surety Group, and State Bank of India.
