IBBI seeks public comments on contents of Request for Proposal (RFP) for resolution plans

Posted On : March 07, 2018

The IBBI has invited public comments on the contents of an RFP for inviting resolution plans under the CIRP of a corporate debtor. The objective is to ensure broader market participation in the CIRP of a corporate debtor so that prospective bidders can make an informed decision. This is in addition to the IBBI’s earlier prescriptions on the timelines for invitation of resolution plan, clear articulation of the process and the requirement of evaluation criterion for greater transparency and efficiency. In order to have a transparent and standard process for invitation and evaluation of resolution plans, the IBBI is inviting comments from all stakeholders on the contents of the RFP for the resolution plans. The stakeholders can provide their comments citing their name, role (IP, IPA, Corporate Debtor, Creditor to Corporate Debtor, Investors, Academics, Others), and email address. The comments should be submitted by email to feedback@ibbi.gov.in by 9th March, 2018.
